Baptist Northeast Medical Staff makes community donations

Faced with the pleasing dilemma of having funds from physician dues and nothing to spend the money on, the Baptist Hospital Northeast Medical Staff voted a few years ago to make donations to deserving community groups.

So far in 2009, the Medical Staff has made donations totaling $7,500 to: the American Diabetes Association, Baptist Northeast indigent fund, Boy Scouts of America – Friends of Scouting, Metro United Way of Oldham County, Oldham County Dollars for Scholars Program, Oldham County Senior Citizens Center and the Oldham County Family YMCA.
